Lena Zubareva, C0-founder of Girls Empowered by Travel. She’s been passionate about travel, the non-profit sector and non-formal education for a long time. She holds a Master Degree in International Relations. Sometimes she writes in her travel blog and creates short travel videos about unusual people, places, and experiences around the world. She’s aspiring to start an adventure travel company as well. She visited Nepal for the first time in 2014 and fell in love with the country and its people.
Ms. Sajana Bhadel, Co-founder/CEO and former President of Girls Empowered by Travel-Nepal, is an enthusiastic traveler. She is a graduate of Masters of Arts in Economy. She is also a licensed trekking guide. She runs the local based Travel Agency “Explore Hub Nepal” organising the unconventional travel experiences for travelers.
She has remained President at Kay Garnay for Nepal, a non-profit agency for two years. She worked as a Program Associate at Proposals for NGOs. Along with this, she has been working as a lecturer for the past 2 years. She is also the founding member and Recruitment Co-coordinator of Society of Nepalese Women in Economics.
She believes “Travel means to me- to explore within myself, to share love, to accept the challenge and let the world to shape me”
Dibya Shrestha, 20, is a very enthusiastic leader. She is pursing her Bachelor in Information Management degree at Tribhuvan University. She was an active member of GET since 2019. She was also part of our initiative program “Set your goals” . Also she was one of the members of Nepal Teen Leaders Batch-ll. Currently, she is working as Program Director of Kalpabriksha’s project.
She believes that “the most beautiful thing about traveling is “We can travel with anyone and it can be anywhere”

Brinda Indira Basnet, 23, is a undergraduate student of Arts. She is a creatives person. She is also proficient at public speaking. She is involved in this organization from past few year. Currently, She is working as a Part time Radio programmer Presenter. She was also a YALC member at Yuwa for the year 2019 to 2020.
She believes that , “Listen to understand and be a responsible traveler”.
Brinda Indira Basnet
Sanjita Basnet, 28, who identity herself as a Traveler and Baker, had completed her Bachelor degree in Travel and Tourism Management from NCTTM college. And currently, She started her own bakery shop” House of Delights”. She is as sweet as a magic in a cake. She has a six year of working experience as Travel Consultant, with a demonstrated history of working in the leisure, travel & tourism industry.
She loves to explore new destinations and believes that, “Travel makes you realize that no matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn. So travel with no regrets”.
Anu Raut, 20, is a undergraduate student of Social Work at Tribhuvan University. She has a passion and heart from works that brings her closer to community and networking. She is quite active in different activities of her college and takes deep interests working in community field visit. She has also been part of the organizing team and loves being mostly on outdoors.
She believe, “Travel is way to learn and connect with the different people, community and a nature.”
