On March 24, the Nepal government announced the nation-wide lock down. It affected the daily lifestyles of all Nepalese, mostly the vulnerable were postnatal and prenatal women and the  children. Around  500,000 prenatal women were deprived from the health facilities and more than 50 pregnant women lost their lives as a result of lock down. So far we have reached around  1,594 families which includes  more than 500 postnatal and prenatal women. The distributions programs were entirely led by our interns who managed and  selected the  needy groups to distribute ration in a peaceful way with collaborating local government and local volunteers.
